ASTR1. Scope and contact
This policy covers Astra's website, mobile experience and Windows app. Privacy requests can be sent to simpledailyplanner26@gmail.com, Chikkalasandra, Bengaluru. We process personal data to provide study services, protect accounts and meet applicable obligations, including applicable requirements of Indian data-protection law. We do not sell personal data.
2. Account and study information
Google sign-in supplies account information such as your name, email and profile image. We store your account profile and preferences you provide, such as selected exams, subjects and study goals.
Study data may include test attempts, selected answers, scores, timing, completion history, saved questions, revision status, notes, and reports or feedback you send. Public ranking features may display your profile/display name and score information; private notes are not intended to be public.
3. Payment information
Astra records information needed to verify and manage access, such as order and payment references, plan, amount, status and access dates. Razorpay processes payment details under its own privacy policy. Astra does not ask you to send full card details, banking passwords, UPI PINs or OTPs by email, and does not store those credentials.
4. Device information and storage
Technical information may include browser and device details, request/security logs and information needed to diagnose errors. If you enable reminders, notification subscription information is processed to deliver them.
Your device may store sign-in information, theme and navigation preferences, locally saved progress, liked items and recently opened test copies. See the Cookies and Local Storage Policy. Clearing device storage may remove these settings without deleting server-held account records.
5. Purposes and choices
We use information to authenticate you, provide and verify paid access, load tests, save results, support revision, respond to requests, maintain security and diagnose service problems. Information is processed with consent where required, to fulfil requested services and to meet applicable legal obligations. Optional notifications depend on your permission and can be disabled through your browser or device.
Astra does not offer in-app AI question generation or an AI coach. Account data is not sent by an in-app AI feature for model processing. If you independently use an external LLM, that provider's policies apply to what you upload there.
6. Sharing and external links
Providers involved in hosting, account authentication, payment processing and enabled notifications receive information needed for those functions. We may disclose information in response to lawful requests or where necessary to prevent fraud or protect rights. We do not sell it for advertising.
When you use Share, the destination app receives the content you choose to share. Other apps, Google, Razorpay and Microsoft Store process data under their own policies; their practices are outside Astra's control.
7. Retention and deletion
We retain account and study information while needed to provide your account and services. On a verified deletion request we delete or anonymise personal data unless retention is necessary for legal, accounting, fraud-prevention or dispute obligations. Restricted backups may retain copies until their normal replacement cycle. Retained records are used only for the relevant lawful purpose, not to restore active study access.
8. Security and international processing
We use HTTPS and access controls designed to protect personal data. No system or device can be guaranteed completely secure. Keep your device protected and report suspected misuse promptly.
Service providers may process information outside India. Applicable transfer restrictions and safeguards apply; a provider's location does not remove your applicable privacy rights.
9. Your requests
Email simpledailyplanner26@gmail.com to request access, correction, deletion, consent withdrawal or other rights available under applicable law, including grievance redressal and nomination where applicable. We may need to verify that you control the account; we will not request your password or payment PIN. Withdrawal may prevent us from providing features that require the information. You may also contact a competent authority where entitled.
10. Children
Astra is not intended for children under 13. Under-18 use requires parent or guardian involvement as described in the terms, and any additional consent required by applicable law. If a child's data has been submitted without appropriate permission, contact simpledailyplanner26@gmail.com so we can investigate and take appropriate action.
11. Updates
We update this page when practices change. The date above identifies the current version; additional notice or consent will be provided where required.
