Delete your account in the app

On the Android app or website, tap the profile icon at the top of the screen to open Account. Scroll to the bottom, tap ‘Delete my account’, type DELETE and tap ‘Delete forever’. The same button appears on this page while you are signed in. Deletion starts straight away, signs you out and cannot be undone.

Request deletion by email

If you cannot sign in, email simpledailyplanner26@gmail.com from the Google email linked to your Astra account with the subject ‘Delete my Astra account’. This page and the email channel are available without signing in or paying. We may verify that you own the account before acting; never send your Google password or a one-time code.

What is deleted

Your sign-in account, profile and display name; mock test attempts, scores, streaks and Daily 5 history; saved questions, folders, notes and revision lists; topic passport evidence; challenges you created or joined; question reports and feedback you sent; reading, follow and hidden-item preferences stored with your account; and phone notification registrations. Your name is removed from leaderboards. After deletion these records can no longer be viewed or restored.

What may be kept

Payment and subscription records are kept only as long as tax, accounting or other legal duties require, or while a dispute or fraud check is open. Admin change logs that record content edits may remain. Non-identifying totals, such as how many people attempted a question, may remain. Restricted backups are replaced on their normal cycle. Data held separately by Google, Razorpay or an app store must be requested from them.

Paid access and refunds

Deleting your account ends any Pro or paid access immediately. Under our Refund Policy this does not create a refund, subject to any rights that the law does not allow us to exclude. If you only want to stop reminders, turn them off in Settings or in your phone's notification settings instead.

Delete selected data and device copies

To keep your account but remove particular data, delete saved questions and notes in the app or email simpledailyplanner26@gmail.com saying what you would like removed. Deleting your account in the app also clears Astra's copies on that device. On other devices, clear site data or uninstall the app. Uninstalling alone does not delete your account.

Your Google account

Astra uses Google only to sign you in. Deleting your Astra account does not delete your Google account. To also remove Astra's access, visit your Google Account's ‘Third-party apps and services’ page. If you sign in again later, a new empty Astra account is created.
